Our Story
With retirement around the corner for Julie in 2022 and 3 years of retirement already under Rob’s belt, it was time to focus on the things we both love to do. For Rob, it was dusting off his woodworking tools and using the Iowa hardwoods (mostly ash and walnut) grown on our property to craft cheese boards, wine racks, and wine stoppers. For Julie, it was getting back to her love of art, first with watercolor and then with the unlikely transition to forging steel to craft custom forged items. Add in some tumbled agates from the North Shore of Lake Superior, and you have another metal craft — wire wrapped jewelry. Check out our store to see all of our products... Handmade for you!
